Decorative Shield

These small shields are perfect for displaying your heraldry, as a group painting project, or as decorations for your event.

Materials: Our decorative shields are made from locally sourced plywood made from 100% Australian renewable radiata pine.

Size: The shields come in 10cm, 6cm, and 3cm widths. We also sell a variety pack at a bulk discount.

Designs: Our shields are made using a laser cutter, allowing us to shallowly etch them with highly precise designs. We currently have designs based on real historical heraldry, and depictions of SCA Heraldry in Lochac. We release new designs from time to time, so check out the product gallery.

Easy to Paint: Because the laser engraving etches a line into the wood, paint is held by surface tension on one side of the line better than a sketched design on a flat surface. This makes our shields easier to paint.
