Rigid Heddle

Materials: Our rigid heddles are made from locally sourced plywood made from 100% Australian renewable radiata pine.

Size: Our rigid heddles are 13cm x 10cm. The size is large enough for beginning weavers to easily control when learning backstrap weaving, whilst still being compact enough for an experienced weaver's needs.

Design: Like our other products, our rigid heddle is made using a laser cutter, allowing us to shallowly etch them with highly precise designs. This particular design is based on a bronze find from Roman Era Gallia Lugdunensis in modern day Briord, France.

How to: We are currently working on our own weaving videos, but there are many videos already available.
